I am suppose to be writing my view on conformity but I just can not get enough words to make a essay Please help

Conformity is the act of consciously maintaining a certain degree of similarity (in clothing, manners, behaviors, etc.) to those in your general social circles, to those in authority, or to the general status quo. Usually, conformity implies a tendency to submit to others in thought and behavior other than simply clothing choice. But in life, people confirm So the question is do you think are you a blind conformer or a conscious and logical conformer? Blind conformity leads to evils at home, community, society and the whole world. But conscious, practical, logical and sensible conformity can lead to goodness, prosperity and progress.

Good essay topic. There is a time for conformity so the world stays together and then there is a time always for the non-conformist who either helps change the world through innovation or tests the world's stability through rebellion. If you ever notice, mainstream society is always driven by non-conformists even though never stated so publicly. Look at clothes, music, the arts, etc.

my view on conformity is that it coheres people's ideas so that they seem collectively right. it can make what is so wrong becomes right just because the number of devotees. it hence what makes a supposedly impossible belief become acceptable like some of the existing religions right now. it is psychologically very strong and if you may, it is the strongest suggestibility phenomena. in the world of psychoanalytics, conformity can be attributed to collective unconsciousness (jung)
