Get rid of all unnecessary files and programs, clean Internet cache and make sure no programs load at start up that are not needed. Only use hibernation if you really really think you need to, otherwise disable this feature and just save your work before shutting down. Hibernation files get very big. Check for and clean any Spyware and Virus, these can really slow a PC. Also run scan disk and defrag in that order this will also increase performance and is best if done on a regular basis

Your laptop slows down whilst the confusingcontinual is extra advantageous than one million/2 complete so shifting media archives to an externalcontinual would desire to help. I would increase the RAM first. That will have a greater effect. Also try a defrag on the HD.

it depends, if your HDD is full, it could help! try defraging and doing a disk cleenup in the system tools directory in the startmenu first! then go to start then run and type msconfig click ok and go to startup then start unchecking stuff that you don't need! after that, go to housecall.trendmicro.com and do a virus scan!
