Hi,

This is symptom of claustrophobia. but how to overcame this?
In simple words, you need to get used to it progressively, and keep courage. How?

Try to meet with known friends, and get used to it, then if you are successfully overcome this step, try to meet the new people mixed with your friend, but there should be not too many people in the meeting.

Then, as you get used to it, try to increase the intensity by meeting with higher number of people progressively first in open rooms and later on in closed rooms.

I could say phobia is usually take years to be cured, so you need a lot of courage and persistance. Besides that you need assistant from your closed circle ( parents, closed friends, brothes and sisters).

Additionally, the first step to overcome phobia is to understand the nature ( what triggered it, why it could happen, when it happened, how usually I could lessen the effect) and admit it that you are weak to them but you are strive to be cured. Maybe it would be good if you could try to be participant of alcohol anynomous meeting, if your phobia do not hinder you. In this meeting as observer you can stay anonymous and you can stay silence.

If you need more information I would gladly to help, and I hope you could overcome this

I hope this helps, the sharing of my experience: while i have no trouble interacting with others, and no self esteem issues, i discovered that i am "very sensitive to energies". That is, i can feel the energy/vibration frequency being emitted by people, places and things. So, being in crowds, at the mall, etc. was for me, as well, a great challenge.

Everything emits a frequency. Most people are unaware of this or wholly insensitive to such.. Some of us, however, are "energy sensitives". The upside is that when you are amidst good frequencies--out in nature, or at a truly sacred spot, it feels wonderful and healing and uplifting.

However, conversely, when in "bad" energy, the opposite, of course. Low vibes, among other things, make you feel anxious and weak. It took me along time to figure this out--that the problem was my soaking up of bad vibes.

Alas, most, especially adult, humans do have, for lack of a more discreet way to say it, low vibes. Why? Because they spend their time worrying, and otherwise thinking about low vibe things like money, their ego needs, etc. Thus, they emit low frequencies.

Could this be your problem? Test it!! If it is, just "ask" whatever Deity you feel comfortable with, or your "Higher Self" to set up "protection" around you when needed to block out the ambient vibes. That's how i manage to "get through".

Another upside of this is you can work very happily with (always) high vibe beings, such as angels to great advantage vis a vis healing and spiritual growth. See for example: the book Angels: companions in Magick and http://www.worldofsouls.com and http://www.spiritmythos.org I hope this is of service. Best of luck :))))

Get into some counseling. You can't do it without some professional guidance. You have an anxiety issue in crowds. Many people have it. You don't have to take medications but you will probably not find any resolution on your own. A counselor/therapist really can help you to get over this.

I would suggest that you might want to check into a book called Heart of the Mind: Engaging Your Inner Power to Change With Neuro-Linguistic Programming (Paperback)
by Connirae Andreas.

Go to a small church w/not so many people. Then gradually make yourself go to places w/more and more people. Eventually you should get more used to it.
