Ok, so my friend is building a show truck, and asked me where he could buy a kit. But he doesnt want to have an ignition bypass. Can you just use an injector at the end of the tailpipe with a spark plug set up?

All that is required is to drill the exhaust about 12 inches from the end of the tips, thread to fit a spark plug, wire these plugs back through to the coil with an inline cut off switch to divert the charge from one plug in each bank of the engine to the ones in the exhaust pipes(dual exhaust)...the unburned fuel due to the two cylinders up front misfiring wiill be burned at the tailpipe. Cheap and neat little show trick. Have Fun and don't burn anyone. Be careful, I saw these produce 2-3 foot flames without trying. I will not be held responsible for anyones actions. Try this at your own risk.

car exhaust is non-flammable. It's already been burned stochiometric, so there's no fuel or oxygen left in it.
So the exhaust won't help you in any way. You'd have to start from scratch building a whole flamethrower that happens to come out the same hole as the exhaust.

Some use propane, some will pump unburned gas through the system. You still need a sparkplug and a coil to ignite it.
