My baby boy is nine weeks old. He sleeps very well through the night, and stays up almost all day. He's really starting to show an interest in playing; in fact, if you don't keep him entertained he'll get really fussy! Problem is, I can't find too many toys for his age group. What toys did you and your baby like in this age range the most? What games did they like to play?

My daughter really liked rattles and noisy toys at that age. But mostly, she liked me to make silly faces and "eat" her hands and feet. Mommy and Daddy are the best "toys" for your son's age. Enjoy being the center of his universe....soon you won't be able to keep him in your lap when you want to cuddle.

My baby is 3 months and he's always liked little stuffed animals. Ones that are beanie baby sized. He also likes the crinkly toys that are bright colored. Really anything that is bright and anything they can wrap they're little fingers around is good. Here in a couple of weeks they'll get a little better at holding things and stuff so it will be a little easier. But if you can't find the right toys they always love just you and your smiling face. Good luck

My baby loves toys with lights. As long as the toys are easy to get ahold of you baby will love them. He/She may play with them for just a few mins then wants a different toy. Just rotate through the toys and they will have a ball with you.

There was this one in particular that you put on the floor that mine son loved. It was like a mini blanket with lots of squeaky things on it that also had two soft bar-like things that went over it. They had little toys that you could attach to the bars and her really had fun with it. Target is where I think we purchase it from. And V-Tech makes these little activity balls, he may be a little too small to fully enjoy but I bet he'd like the music! Hope this helps! :)

well my daughter didnt like toys she loved to play with me..., she always loved when i would hold her close and play peek a boo when they are that little they like to feel warm and close to their mother where they can hear a heartbeat like it was when they were in the womb. Just play some games with their hands holding them to your face while you are making funny faces try and get a smile out of them, if that doesnt work than play peek aboo that will surley interest them.

I always went up to the next age group.

Bright colors. Things that stack.
Noises. Music.

A baby gym is great. It is one of those things you lay them under and they can swing up and hit and it makes noise and stuff. My son loved to lay on the floor and play with his.
