Okay, this might be confusing considering I'm telling you over the net, but here it goes. First, sing with focused sound. You should be able to feel a buzz right behind your nose. Project, breath deep into the diaphragm, relax your shoulders, look straight ahead, don't bend your chin up or down because it constricts the sound, sit up straight or stand, and make sure to warm up before you sing (that's the most important one.) It's a lot of info, but I really hope it helps. You're probably not as bad as you say you are. You just didn't have the proper instruction!!! I would suggest a singing coach as well. It helps when they can hear you (cuz I can't) Ciao!!!!

breathe with your diaphram, not just your lungs. Use your diaphram to give your voice more power.
