I love the guy on the Sopranos, but to hang a kid with it for his whole life? No.
Have your husband get a dog and name it Furio if he needs to name something after a television show.

i personally dont like it at all, but you could always compromise and make Furio the middle name if he is that obsessed with it lol..
For a while i liked the name Shiloh for a girl and my bf was like eww absolutely not.. But for a boy, he likes Axel !!?!
so we compromised and decided to maybe go w/ those for middle names and pick a 1st name we both agree on

I don't mean to be insulting or anything, but when I read the question I thought it was about a cat or dog. I would like the name for a cat or dog, but not for a person. I think it is parody for a person, it is not even a real name, it is made from the word fury or furious. Bottom line, sorry but it sucks, you have to veto this if you don't want your child to be traumatised and embarassed by his name for the rest of his life!

Sounds angry, like furious. There are similar names that aren't as harsh-sounding. Two good books to look at are The Name Book by Dorothy Astoria and Name That Baby by Jane Bradshaw.

Sounds a little odd to me, like furious. But who says odd equals bad. Maybe being named after a hit-man will give the kid character,
or a bad reputation,
or a complex.
hmmmmm...
Why not have your hubby select a name from a list of names which you both find positive and meaningful.
Some people derive a sense of identity from the well thought out name that their parents lovingly selected.
(I'm one of those people)

Its fine for a middle name, but your child will be teased if is name if Furio. Kids will call him furry....I'd avoid that name.

I think it's a good name for a dog, but not a person, your boy would be teased alot in school, why would you pick a name off of a tv show, save that name for your pet.

It sounds angry....furious. What about Dario? Enzo? Claudio? Paolo? All sound Sopranos-ish.
