The Stanford Tree is the worst mascot in the history of mascots (I just had to get that out).
I love the Army Black Knight as a symbol of all that is great about that institution and this country.

Albert the Alligator, University of Florida...he has a girlfriend mascot named Alberta......no other masctot has a chic!!!!

In spite of their annoying little song, I'm partial to the U.C. Santa Cruz Banana Slugs.
It doesn't get less cliche than a macho slug.
Also - I believe that Sammy the slug has a girlfriend named Sally.
