does anyone know if I can just buy the Sony mylo Personal Communicator COM-1 2.4 ---for me too use and stuff or do i have to have t-mobile for me to use it activally?

i really want it for my birthday wich is soon so if anyone can get back to me it would e greatly appreciated!

The Sony Mylo Communicator is basically a device that holds your music, pictures and browse the internet. You can also using instant messaging that includes the software yahoo messenger and google Talk.

To browse the internet on this device, you will need a Wireless connection through your home computer network at home (DSL, or Cable Internet) or through public hotspots (coffee shops, airports, hotels, libraries). Make sure if you are going to a public hotspot area that they offer Wi-Fi free internet and not one that charges you by the hour.
