I have used an inkjet printer for a while now and i am considering getting a laser printer.I see that you can get refills for the laser printers toner catridge.

Is a laser printers toner cartridge fairly easy to refill? Is laser printer toner expensive?Would it be more cost effective to just keep using my inkjet printer?

If you are thinking about Color Laserjet refills; then I'd suggest you to keep using your Inkjet.

If you use only black inkjet cartdge and get it refilled (yourself), in such case, you should consider to move to a laser printer; it is far more superior in print quality and toner refills are also avaialble (you need attain highest precaution when re-filling in laser cartridge as it contains charged particles of dry-ink; may be hazardious to health when inhaled)

Laser printers are great if you do a lot of printing, you can get over 3,000. copys on some and the refills come in a handy cartridge you just take one out and put new one in.maybe a little more expensive than inkjet but you get a lot more copies.

if you are just doing black and white pages Lazer is the way to go. thy are faster and the toner is cheaoer in the long run. Refilling is a lot of work. You can get the refills and the cartridges pretty cheap on e-bay.
I print tons of documents all day long and toner in a lazer printer is awesome. one of my printers in a hp 1012. just a printer but small, cheap, and super fast and dependable. the toner cartridge is also the drum so every cartridge change is also a new drum change.
