Girls, what are you saying when a guy likes you and you call him a "sweet" guy? What's so wrong with sweet?

being the ''sweet guy'' only means that you are a very nice person, nothing derogatory, simply that the girl isn't interested in you for a mate, but she still values you as a friend.

Well, there's nothing wrong with being called a "sweet guy". It's actually a compliment. There are 2 meanings to it though. The first one is that they like/love you, but in a sibling kind of way. The second meaning they think you're really nice and they'd like to hang out some time - as more than friends.

For girls, calling a guy sweet is a nice way of saying she isn't interested. She may very well think you are sweet, a nice guy and she s flattered that you like her, but she sees you just as a friend. A sweet, non-sexual friend.

There is nothing wrong with sweet! If whomever said it made it sound like ... well sweet but that's all ... a few years from now when they are looking for that perfect husband, SWEET is exactly what they are going to hope to find! Just stay sweet!!!! Repeat to yourself ... Sweet is great!
