No your not weird alot of people I know don't prefer screaming in the music they listen to. I like it though I actually think that it takes alot of talent to scream in a song and make it sound good. Anyone can scream, but if it sounds good I have great respect for the person that is screaming. Alot of the bands that I listen 2 consist of screaming some of them are UnderOath, Atreyu, and Silverstein.
So all and all Scremo music dose not bother me I acctually kind of prefer it.

When any singer starts screaming, it shows lack of talent and the fact that they could not finish the song with anyother way, basically saying the song was junk.

Screaming is fine with me. However, there are songs that are irritating when the whole song consists of screaming. But overall, I don't mind.

singing and growls, yet no screaming? examine out Opeth's older stuff. Blackwater Park has multiple stuff on it that combines clean singing and dying metallic growls without screaming in any appreciate.

I can tolerate it in little amounts. Seether has some songs where they scream but it's never that long. But if it's every line or even every other line, I don't like it. I see no point in it.

I never considered screaming actual music. Real music and singing take time and effort to master, not just seeing how loud you can yell cuss words while ruining your vocal chords. Ciao!!!!

I acually like the screaming, it adds more drama and emotion. But teh new guys don't do it right. They need lesson's from Robert Plant.

the screaming is okay, when you can understand what they're saying... but songs with too much screaming or songs that are practically screamed irritates me..

I like it - but I like Metal.
I don't mind singing it either, as long as the vocalist has a good voice - like the song 'Through Glass', by Stone Sour - singing, you can hear everything, great song.
