strong safety, your tall and you are very fast if you play linebacker it is a bit of wasted speed, you sound good at both positions though

It truly depends on the type of defense your team runs. If your a team that runs a bear then you would be great at linebacker, especially considering the fact that your fast. My high school team runs a bear our linebackers are typically 180-210 lbs and our corners, ss, or fs are 150 on average but are very fast and hard hitters. Another aspect is if your a good pass coverage person or a good run coverage type of person.

It depends on how good your coverage skills are. If you are not that good at covering go to linbacker if you can cover good go to safety. I played starting varsity linebacker at 5-6 185lbs with a 4.9 40 yard dash

No such thing as wasted speed. Just means you can cover better and hit with more momentum. Pat Willis runs a 4.37.
You are small for LB so I would go with Strong Safety. Stay Lean and get faster.

Hey man hit the weights, bulk up and become a middle linebacker. Look at it this way Ray Lewis or Bubba Franks. But remember that football is just a game.

Your built for a strong safety so thats what i would do, but you could also be used to rush the QuarterBack as a Outside Linebacker.I would talk to your defensive coach about that.
