hi in the uk the ps3 just came out and i have an x360 and its really good easy to connect and great play is the ps3 better cois i think the ps3 have been out in usa for a while so what you think?

On paper the PS3 is the more advanced unit. But none of that matters if you can't find any games worth playing. As Sony loses more and more of its exclusivity in regards to games, you might find that the PS3 is not worth the 600 dollars (US) they are asking for it.

Buying a PS3 and not buying a PS3 is all in what you're looking for. If you want really good graphics you can buy the PS3 or if you want a ton of storage buy it, but really the differences between the two are minimal because as of now the difference between 1080i for the 360 and 1080p for the PS3 is barely noticeable.
I have my Xbox 360 hooked up to output 1080i and 6.1 surround sound and I would say you can't get any better than that.
With my PS3 I could only really buy 2 good quality games due to the poor selection and low ratings. It was Resistance: Fall of Man and MLB 2k7. Honestly, since I beat Resistance and got sick of MLB 2k7 the PS3 just sits in my basement waiting for a nice title to come out. Until October 16th (GTA 4 release) I probably won't touch it.
If I were you, wait a year and see how many nice titles are coming and then buy it.

yes the PS3 has the best gadgets and gizmos but the 360 has a way better catalouge of games and its cheaper too. you can also play hits that you own on your Xbox on yout 360. the Xbox 360 also has a great online service with arcade games you can purchase. also the 360 still has some amazing graphics and a wireless controller. 360 all the way!

I think the PS3 is completely better. It has everything that a gamer like me likes and needs from a console.
