how do you persuade your friend to spill something when she's being a complete pain?

my friend is keeping something from me and i can tell she needs to talk to someone about it but she hesitates when she tries to tell me and ends up changing the subject... i can tell something major is wrong

i don't want to be nosy

Just hang out with her and giver her time. She'll tell you what's up once she's feels comfortable around you. Remember, it's her problem, not yours, so don't fret about it. Just be a good friend and stay open-minded.
