Explain this experience.

Yep. I never seem to fit in. I make every effort to be nice and blend and people still avoid me because of my clothes, make up, tattoos etc. It's sad because I never pay attention to physical differences, limitations, and so on - I treat everyone as an equal. I mean I once had a woman who...well never mind. She had an extreme disfigurement, that's all I need to say. Anyway, I went to the same picnic she happened to be at and I was dressed like a hippie girl (on purpose) with daisies in my hair and everything. I picked up a guitar even though I don't know how to play, and jokingly tried to sing Kumbaya. She called me a freak.
EDIT: Okay I knew there wasn't any way to say that without sounding rude. But I'll try to explain further. I was friendly and tried to get along with everyone. And it was later on, behind my back, she was calling me a freak because I can't sing very well but I didn't care - I was entertaining my kids.

Yes I had just moved to this area and felt out of place at several Christmas time get togethers.

It seems as if I always feel out of place....weather it be on my job, at school, at any type of a gathering, or with my family....& yes it does make me feel alone....thats why I stay alone! I have alot of pets...they love me unconditionally...they never leave me out of things & are there for me when I am down...they do not judge me & always listen to me when I have something to say...Pets are great people!

I feel it a lot lately whenever I'm around my friends. It's like we're all moving in different directions and I don't know how I fit in with them anymore. It makes me feel completely alone.

Being that I am a generally quiet person it has happened to me more than once and around people that I didn't know it certainly made me feel alone.

Everywhere. Many people have lots of friends, but I have olyn 2 real friends.

yes :'( everyone leaving you out of the convo. and having no one to talk to. it gets boring and i get self-conscious lol :)
