Better try the dvds, horses can't read.

What do you mean by teachingyour horse to sidesaddle? If yoyr horse is saddle broke it'll acceptany saddle. It's you who needs to learn to ride sidesaddle the horse won't now the difference . You'll need to learn different technics im sure to better control and better your balance i'm sure Good luck.

You are going to try to teach your horse yourself? I would have him professionally trained if I were you.
