Im working at home passively finding apartment listings for people that are too busy too look for them selves. Now when it comes to payment is there anyway I can get them to make their payment to my personal chequing account without telling them my account number,

Ask your bank for a seperate account. or use your savings account.

I would suggest acepting a personal check or other alternate form of payment for security reasons. As a buisness owner I can tell you the only way they make the payment straight to your account would be through an ACH draft authorization, to do that they would need your account number!!!

Insist on meeting with your client first. I have excepted many forms of payment in my years but have never asked anyone to deposit money in my account. Draw up a legal document. with date and names and to really protect yourself have it signed before a notary. Charge an upfront fee for your services and only search after you have been paid. You can require cash, also. Never heard of your services before. Sounds very interesting. Good Luck.

No, noone can access your personal checking account without the account number. Why can't they just pay you?......Nuf Said

You could... you know... take a check... and cash it.

You could also take cash, money orders, or set up on PayPal to take credit cards.
