thank goodness my daughter traded all of her polly pockets to her friend!! now im finding those plastic-rubber outfits and little polly heads in the yard, and some really odd places.. who thought up that doll, should have to dress, pick up after and containerize them for a week or 2!! the only good thing about them is that they dont hurt when you step on them like legos do!! im goin back in now. ive resorted to boxing every thing right now. if they want the toys, then they are going to take better care of their things... (im so mean) lol

If they are not "well played with" and look new, then you should pass them out at Halloween to Trick Or Treaters. We saved fast food toys one year, and passed them out, and the parents loved them. Kids get so much candy on Halloween, the kids thought they were great, even the older kids. We purchased a cheap pack of pencils from Oriental Trading Company that were Halloween printed pencils, and we said pencil or toy, and 9 times out of ten the kids wanted the toy. By the end of the night, kids were coming up to our house singing the I'm Loving It song from the McDonalds commercials. It was great fun for all.

If you don't want to go with the Halloween idea, here are some other ideas:
Use them for party bag fillers at kids birthday parties.

Donate them to a preschool or daycare center.

Box them all up and sell them on E-bay as a lot (there is a market for that sort of thing)

Sell them at a garage sale in a large box with a set price usually 25 cents each or 50 cents each

If they are clean, you may be able to donate them to a children's hospital or children's shelter, or even a woman's shelter who can give them to kids who would not otherwise have toys to play with.

Or, you can box a bunch of them up in shoeboxes, and ship them over seas at Christmas time for Operation Christmas Child which gives toys, and other items to kids who would not otherwise have Christmas gifts.

I sold ours at a yard sale 3 for a buck. So many people collect the toys, check out ebay or another site to see if you can find someone who will give you cash for them. I boxed up some of their favorites to bring out someday later for the grandchildren. Whatever you do, keep it to yourself. I'm still hearing about selling the Polly pocket stuff from my 19 year old, she may never forgive me. Just remember to keep their favorites and you should be OK.Good Luck! =)

I would ask them witch ones they like the best(only 3) then give some to the goodwill and keep some for the garage sale and keep the other 3 each kid chose for the grand children so they will have some of there parents fave toy.

Box them up & have a yardsale. If the toys aren't broken or ruined, you can get about 10 cents or a quarter for each toy. You can also donate them to a local Salvation Army store, Goodwill, or even a domestic violence shelter.

do what we did. Have them go through and pick a handful each to save for sentimental reasons.

Maybe keep another dozen or so of the more functional ones for the grandkids.

Donate the rest to charity or sell them at a yard sale.

My kids are 10 and 8, and they won't miss any of theirs.
