im in a college level english class and we have a 3 page essay due tmrw. im used to doing these things at the last minute but i just wanted some help on what i could do. heres what i need for my essay:

3 page critical analysis of a character, characters, or theme in one of these primary sources; "The Odyssey", "Oedipus the King", "The Bhagavad-Gita", "Matthew and Luke", "The Koran", or chinese poetry of Li Po. I have to find a critical article for quotations or paraphrases, and i can use the actual text for my actual details.

i just need to know where i can find some of this information. if anyone could help me in any way that would be great!

Thanks!!

Most universities these days have access to online databases such as infotrac, where you can search critical articles online. If yours doesn't - then it's time to hit the library.
Most importantly - have you READ any of these works? if not - I suggest you work on Oedipus Rex, it's short and an easy read. Also - if you're a REAL procastinator - there are notes online for this stuff so you can get the summary and be familiar with what you're writing about.
3 pages is pretty light - you should be able to get this done easily. I would suggest you dig up 3 articles to draw from - with a work like Oedipus - that won't be hard - the Odyssey is another one that's written about pretty extensively. I am less familiar with the other works you mentioned.
Don't do a google search, most profs want peer reviewed journal articles - not internet sites - you'll bomb your paper if you try that - unless you get really lucky and happen to find a published article on a website (not likely - but I've seen it).

Best advice I can give is - head to the library - find all the articles you can on your chosen work, and work your topic around the most readily available articles that have a common theme. There is probably also a librarian there that can help you find info if you're not familiar with how to use databases for these types of searches. Use all the resources at your disposal - that's why they're there.
This goes without saying too - but obviously make sure to stay away from plagiarism - 3 pages can be done pretty easily in a day - you'll be fine.
Good luck.

First, choose your character/s or theme...If you choose Matthew & Luke, follow this link...it has some stuff already written that is quite good. I think you can take it from there. www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-genealogy.html · Cached page
Why are Jesus' genealogies in Matthew and Luke so different? Is Matthew Joseph's genealogy and Luke ...

If you want to choose something else...it is sort of harder to find references online but it is possible.

Also, if you choose Matthew and Luke you can get the Bible online at www.biblegateway.com.
