It was a harmless question yet i violated the community guidelines. How did i really violated the guidelines? It wasn't chatting or personal communication. I saw my 119th answer and the next day (today) it was deleted. I suspect the person who reported me was jealous. What are the possibilities?

You can reply to the email that you were reported. Tell Yahoo they are full of 'IT'. I do it all the time. They say they will investigate. Big deal. Who cares. I have been reported for being honest so many times I lost track. I am still here.

Some people have got nothing better to do than go upsetting others.

I had a violation for asking about psychics! It was just someone who was bored & didnt agree with my beliefs. Well if thats the case, they didnt have to read my question!!!

Just ignore them.

They must lead VERY sad lives!

I don't see anything wrong with your question, but the Yahoo Answers team has been known to delete questions and answers, that seem perfectly normal. It's happened to me a few time's.

people are mean spirited... I had a question deleted, and YA never gave me a reason for why they deleted it.. they just did.. there are some people who have a need to create situations for others, just because they have different beliefs.. it's really petty and sad.. what can you do??

Yeah, samething happened to me too. I asked "What is your name, what is your quest and what is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow" and I got deleted.

Someone else asked that same exact question and was never deleted.

I'm sorry that this happened to you though.

and if you're wondering I'm female.

My sentiments exactly, I find the few petty minded as5hole5 who spoil this fun site a complete naus as well, however try to rise above it & ignore them, eventually they get bored & go away.
