I know generally the best place to start in the local Council, they will have a fostering and adoption department and are all currently pre promoting fostering fortnight which is in May.

Try your local Social Services Department. They are desperate, I too am hoping to foster children, I have my first interview with the Social Services. I am from Peterborough. They need people all over the UK.

There may well be one closer to you but i'm from Hull and I know there's a very good agency in Beverley - Can't remember the name but it will be in Yellow pages or you could Google it!!

if there is a maternity hospital or assisted conception unit near by im sure they would have some information to get you on the right track, GOOD LUCK
