I used to do bra fittings at Victoria's Secret. I was on the management team. Everyone of the staff is trained to measure people properly for bras. VS doesn't sell anything over a 38DD BUT they will measure you whatever size you are, even if they can't sell you a bra. When I measured women with breasts too big for our bras I sent them to Macy's either to buy their bra or to buy a bra strap extender if we had a bra with a cup size that fit.
The other comment here is valid. I also knew, through my work at VS, that women with very large breasts which caused back strain were able to have breast reduction surgery paid for by their insurance company.
If you don't have medical insurance, try to find a job that has a good insurance plan and stick it out long enough for the surgery. I'd hate to see you live with this pain.
There might not be a bra that can help you. See your doctor and find out how much it is. Many doctors offer payment plans for such things. :-) All the best to you.

If you are having health problems you insurance might pay for you to get a breast reduction. My breast were also very heavy and I was a 40 DDD. I had breast reduction surgery a year ago and I can't believe how much better I feel and how much more I can do. I can run across the street to catch a bus!! But if for sure that is not a option to get surgery, I would go to a department store that has fitters. They have been trained in fitting bras. Store have fitting clinics often. Just call to see if the bra company that is having the clinic has full figure bras. Good luck!

Lane bryant makes really good bras. I am a 46 myself so believe me i know all about the pain. I like going to their store because they have someone there to measure you accurately with a tape measurer and you can try on different styles. If you don'[t have a store locally and have to order from them online, get out the old tape measurer and measure yourself well to make sure you are getting the right size. I thought i was a 44 before i got measured and now the 46 fits much better. A real good bra is much pricer than a platex you would get from walmart or somewhere but it is truly worth every penny & cheaper than surgery. oh, my credit is crappy not sure how yours is but if you go to www.carecredit.com you can apply for this card and pay less than 20.00 a month for any medical procedure including plastic surgery from doctors in your area. my cousin has it and just got h er breast done, but i wasn't approved, mabey you or your mate can be approved and you can get it. good luck

Go and get fitted. They can tell you your actual size and find an appropriate bra. I am 17, a 38 DD (possibly DDD). I know what you mean with the pain. However I will have the surgery, it is worth it. You could inquire with your doctor about it, if it is for medical reasons (back pain etc) they can sometimes do it for free if it's covered by your insurance.

Breast reduction surgery can be covered by insurance, especially since you have back pain. Check out a plastic surgeon covered under your insurance plan and see what happens.

Insurance paid 100% of my surgery (they can pay anywhere from 50-100%).

Go to any good department store. They have the best to offer and they will actually measure and fit you to be sure the bra you do choose will fit well since sometimes a poorly fitting bra can cause problems as well.

there are specialty stores that deal with just that problem. you should be able to find them on-line. lane bryant also offers a large selection of bras for larger bust sizes. they are on-line and in malls.
