I think so! Tell me how you've healed naturally, instead of running to an idiot physician. Here's my harrowing tale:

Senior year of college, just months before graduation, I became stricken down with the worst strain of mononucleosis, which actually took dozens of people to look at me to even diagnose! I couldn't talk, breathe, swallow or anything without immense pain. They said, "rest in bed". I CAN'T FREAKING MOVE-WOW, YOU'RE A TOTAL GENIUS! I had something like Epstein Barr or chronic fatigue, and you tell me stay in bed??? Come on! So, I came home and went to the hospital for 3 days where I had so much blood drawn that my veins couldn't produce anymore. So finally this wonderful man said to have me iv'ed salt and water...lol not kidding. Finally, I got over it months later. Now, I have cast off the shackles of this crap, and NEVER EVER felt nor looked healthier and better in my entire life! Vitamins, herbs and minerals are all anyone needs. Do you agree or not? I hope so.

Because of this timing, I also missed graduation and my last concert (that I played in) ever, and had to return for a month to finish up school.

P.S.-it is also robbing my father of his life currently.

Yes! I completely agree. Western med. is all about money and how many patients you can see in an hour....I guess growing up with a Midwife, Homeopathist, and an Acupuncturist would give me that outlook on the Medical world, lol....But It's true. People go to the hospital for every little sniffle and think they need to take all kinda drugs that just mess you up! I dont think I've ever set foot inside a hospital. (xept to visit family members) Hospitals are fine...For emergencys!

.....Just My Opinion......

I Think good actions come from good people. Some circumstances catapult an immediate need for response, such as an Amber alert and 100's show up to search. If found a tragedy has been avoided, however, things can happen and beyond the police effort, the public never has anything to do with it. A person may or may not decide to open, say, an after school care facility to offer safe haven for children until the parent gets home. If people only worked for the good of mankind, none of us would worry about someone taking advantage of another. I think in your case, medicine is a guessing game. Doctors put together your symptoms and guess between 1000's of diseases. They are good people who want you to be well, but they just don't know. And at the end of their workday they want to go home to their families. I say keep the vitamins flowing and don't hesitate to see a doctor when you really need to.

First off, I'm sorry that you weren't well and am glad to hear you're now over it.

One of the primary reason people live so much longer than they used to and why people in developed countries live considerably longer than those in developing countries is because of modern medicine.

There are times when vitamins, minerals, herbs, spices and other 'alternative' thereapies can work and in many instances they're complimentary to mainstream medicine.

In a lot of cases however these alternative remedies have little or no effect and there have been many instances of people dying or their condition deteriorating because they opted to ignore medical advice.

In medicine it's rare to find a 'one size fits all' miracle cure and one of the reasons there are so many different drugs for the same condition is that some people are more responsive to certain drugs than others. Even with all the medical advances, there are still times when it's trial and error or a process of elimination. I've been there myself when specialists were flown half way around the world to try and figure out what was happening and I spent weeks in hospital having every imaginable test conducted. In the end whatever it was righted itself and the doctors were left baffled.

Now, imagine I'd tried an alternative therapy a few days before the condition sorted itself out, it wouldn't be unreasonable to attribute some kind of healing power to the therapy when in reality it could have been totally useless.

I agree that vitamins, herbs and minerals are an important component of a healthy lifestyle and a good balanced diet will provide all the nutritional needs. If there is a dietary deficiency then this can be compensate for by taking minerals etc in tablet form but other than that they're not a lot of use.

Sorry not to agree but years of studying (not practicing) medicine have taught me a thing or two.

I really like Trevor's answer because it is such a preconditioned answer! It is what he learned in school and heard from mainstream. It is funny. A lot of vits, mins, and herbs are complimentary to mainstream medicine is what he says. No mainstream medicine is complimentary to nothing. Unless you want to talk about hardcore drugs that are comprised of hardcore chemicals! The number one reason of all deaths in the world especially in the USA is not heart disease, not is it cancer! Do you know what it is? It's malpractice and patients dying of all sorts of effects created by the pharmacy co's and their doctors or pushers that push the merchandise!

I did believe in that ignorance for a long time. I got really sick in 2002, if it was up to mainstream, i would still be the chronically sick person i was then. I realized your realization about 6 months into the disease that i was going through. No one knew anything, I just kept taking the meds and kept getting sicker. Do not think that alternative medicine is any better though. It is a huge fad and granted it does work for many ailments but they are pushing way further than they should and they tried to get you hooked as well.

It is almost, all a scam! I saw through the whole system.

It has been 4 years and I have healed myself, thank you very much, and no thanks to anyone else. It was hell and back, but worth it, because I am better than I ever was. It was simple now that I am done. I have this knowledge till the day I die.

People still dont get it though. So I just leave it alone. It is hard to break ignorance and conditioning that everyone has gone through, usually almost impossible!

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! You will always find ones that are interested and ones who are not. Leave others to their otherness!
And do not try to teach pigs how to sing. It irritates them!
Good luck!

OK: you are speaking about several things here. I was healed from end stage Multiple Myeloma (stage 3 there is no 4 bone cancer and you do not make any red blood cells) and was told I would not make it and maybe not even leave the hospital.
Now I want to divide this into 2 catagories.
I needed western medicine to survive to keep me going till I got enough nautural medicine in me to try and heal myself. (without the blood transfusions I would have died) I was healed but I am an extremely unusual case. My parents were 50 years before their time. Always believed in natural but used Western Medicine in an emergency.
Unfortunately today's Medical people are paid for, urged on, suppported, mostly by the huge drug companies. Doctors can be targeted for speaking up. (I used to work in a hospital)
It is a very closed system. Only those with strength of mind and willingness to try something different than western medicine, are able to help those of us who seek them out. It is often at a great cost to them.
Keep doing natural and you will live longer. You must educate yourself. You cannot believe the doctor is always correct.
In defense of doctors, they do a lot of good, and some try really hard. I am finding more of them open to suggestions of the natural way. I also would point out I needed part of Western Medicine to help me heal so there is no absolute in everything. You must be your own advocate.Learn everything you can about your illness and how to avoid it.
They ostracised people 200+ years ago for believeing in washing your hands, and put them in mental instituions, as they dared go against the current belief of the day. It still happens today, but peer pressure is used. Everything needs to be balanaced and natural medicine needs to be balanced against the deterioration in western medicine.

yeah i guess in the last 100 years since it replaced herbs and hocus pocus stuff that "garbage" hasnt doubled the life expectancy, treated conditions that use to be a death sentence, improved the quality of life with people who have chronic illnesses, or anything else like that. lol, its such a bunch of crap....

and yes, i completely beleive that because western medicine isnt good at treating viral infections because of certain constraints, and herbal medicine is a lot worse no matter what the people on this website and idiots like kevin trudeau say. the anti-vaccine crowd is the funniest. pre-polio vaccination, about 50,000 americans each year were crippled by polio. now that people are vaccinated that number is down to 0, but about 5 people are harmed yearly by the vaccine so the anti-establishment people whine. same with all the other vaccines.

I wouldn't say Western medicine is total garbage, but I do think it is hindered by...how should I put it...money and greed. A lot of doctors don't really take the time to talk with you and examine everything they can before writing a prescription and sending you off with a bill. And of course, the more patients they see, the more $$ in their pocket.
So I wouldn't say the Western medicine world is total garbage, but personally for me, it is a last, LAST resort. I'll stick with my family's Chinese witch doctor.

Good day!

Not only with health, but with spirituality and how the mind and body are interconnected. Check out the website, start reading about him and what he did. It will open your eyes to so much.
