It would have aired during the late eighties, possibly early nineties, and it was animated in a style that sort of resembled anime. It was about these two kids, a boy and a girl, who lived in a house that could travel through time. The two of them, along with this old man (their grandpa, or something) and a robot, would visit all these Bible stories. Yes, it was a very weird concept, but it was pretty good for a Christian kid's show.

My friends and I all seem to vaguely remember it, but none of us has any idea what it was called. All the web searches I tried have turned up nothing. Does any one else remember it well enough to know the name of the series?

I know of what you are asking. The show had two names. The first was Superbook. The second was The Flying House. It came out in the states in the eighties usually on the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). The channel played it even after it became the Family Channel later.
