im 7 weeks and ive been spotting but i also had a std while i got preg.... can u please help me and how far along should u be before you can hear a heartbeat

I spotted a bit between 6-10 weeks in the beginning of this pregnancy. It is pretty normal, you just need to monitor it and notify your physician if you start to cramp or pass larger clots, etc.
The first time we heard the heartbeat was around12 weeks. During our 7 week ultrasound we saw the heart beating, but were unable to hear it because it was so small.

You need to call your doctor and let them know. That being said quite a few women spot while they are preg. I spotted most of the time while I was preg with my first child. And spotted with my second unfortunately the spotting with the second was the start of me miscarrying - so you really need to get your doctor informed and he/she can make the call as to what is happening.

you can hear a heartbeat now when you go to the dr. the spotting could be from lack of water or it could be the finalization of the std leaving your body when you got pregnant. when you got to the dr. ask they can better tell you but unless you start bleeding like a full blown period or worse the baby should be fine

Of direction it's and it's going to hold during the complete being pregnant! Oh the fun of being a girl! Your hormones are going loopy proper now as a result of your being pregnant so this certainly is usual, while I was once pregnant I swore my temper swings gave my companion whiplash!
