Psychological Concept???

Question

I have to do a psychology project on a Psychological Concept using the scientific method....I am not sure on how to develop this project any hints or ideas of how or what I can do???
I want to use Personality as the Psychological Concept

One interesting topic is cognitive dissonance and how this relates to being an introvert or extrovert.

For example, when seeing the three buildings that collapsed as if in a demolition on 9/11/2001, I did not believe that the plane crashed could have cause the collapse of these buildings because of my previous experience with building demolitions. It was hard for me to believe that there were such things as Muslim terrorists.

On the other hand, most people who saw it, had no trouble accepting the official story as it was presented through the media.

It also works the other way. People still have resistance to accepting 'conspiracy theories' surrounding the JFK assassination despite overwhelming evidence about the event.

One project would be to show two groups of people high quality videos that conflict about some conspiracy theory target such as:

JFK Assassination
Moon Landings (Apollo Program)
Collapse of the Twin Towers (query: "911 Truth Movement")

These are all available on Google videos.

I would show your subject a movie and do a survey before and after the movie without explaining the purpose of the study. A short survey will do.

You need a thesis statement, such as the following:

"People who are introverts who are presented with conflicting information will tend to ignore or discredit information that is not consistent with their beliefs to a greater extent than an extrovert."

You will need to develop a survey based upon this thesis statement and the particular material that you choose to present. When developing questions during a dry run you can start with open ended free form questions (short answer) to learn more about the participant thinking process.

In your actual experiment, you would like to use multiple choice questions because this is easier to quantify.

American Psycho with Christian Bale is rattling well. he is very insane in that film. Girl, Interrupted. Cape Fear, Secret Window, SHUTTER ISLAND, A Beautiful Mind, Hide and Seak, Taxi Driver...A lot of films with Robert Dinero, as he does a satisfactory activity gambling a freak with mental disorders..there is plenty extra, however i can not believe proper now :)

Personality is a very broad subject. I would recommend refining your research to a certain aspect of personality such as morality development, mental disorders, shyness, promiscuity, etc...
