well lets see
c- you got piazza which wil be good seeing as he will dh which means 20-30 homers
1b- giambi is 35+homers plus walks
2b-lopez is a decent player but could be better
3b- wright is 2b thirdbaseman in the game
ss- betancourt is a major downgrade no real great attributes
lf- matsui will have monster year about 25/100/.315
cf- ichiro will steal ya 50 and hit .330
rf- delmon young is going to hit for decent power
of- swisher will get ya 25+homers
util- young will get ya 20/100/.300 great player
util- bonds will get ya 20+ hrs and a lot of walks
bn- young isnt really proven but we'll see

sp- the king shall be on top form with 200'k season
sp- peavy should bounce back and have great season with low era
sp- d lowe great sinker ball pitcher
sp- lowry has been erratic this spring
sp- wakefield is .500 pitcher at best
rp- saito is 38 yrs old will lose job to broxton by years end
rp- putz will grab 30 or so saves
p- looper is erratic at times
bn colon we'll see if he can bet back to form
bn- johnson is hurt but can get ya 13 wins or so

you could probably drop wakefield and grab a clay hensley or adam wainwright
and
go for a better ss than what you have but other than that great team with a good amount of speed

feels like an 8 out of 10. stable group. Gotta circumvent injuries, in spite of if, as your bench is a sprint skinny. Kitna is a real stable get at QB. In Mike Martz's extensive open offense in Detroit, Kitna would be throwing till his arm falls off. Addai and Henry an excellent RB combination. ought to apply intensity at WR. ought to decrease Dallas Clark and/or Mike Bell and hit the waiver twine for yet another WR.

it looks like this lineup has potential. im sure there is a better 2B out there then Jose Lopez. i know 2B is kinda shallow this year but there has to be someone. also at SS, look for someone like stephen drew or troy trowloski (sp) troy just got the starting job in Colorado, so look for him potential to sky-rocket! i think you can get rid of barry bonds, he may break the record this year but he wont do much else. your starting pitching doesnt look too hot. you have a lot of potential injury with colon, lowe, and lowry. johnson is already injured.. hes gonna be out for a month or so. you need to grab another RP. putz will be stout. not sure what saito is gonna do. look for someone like broxton, torres, or mike gonzalez. gonzalez will take the RP spot from wickman eventually. fix up some of those spots and this team might get into the playoffs but not too far into them! good luck
