Is there someway to tell if some has read a text message you sent them?

No, there is no way to tell if someone has read your text. You can sometimes tell if they've recieved it...depending on your service providor and the one you send it to. Go to your Sent text messages, open the one that's in question, and select "View Info" or something along those lines. It will sometimes show you a sent time and a delivered time, or if delivery was complete. This won't tell you if someone read it, but it may tell you if their phone recieved it.
