I mean come on, every other movie since then has mostly been a crappy remake which ruined originals. Saw was good but not as good as this.

It was not better who equal to Silence of the Lambs. I just thought it was the best since Silence of the Lambs.

It was pretty good. It was definately better than most or all of the horror films released in the past 5 years.

The Descent was one of the best horror films in recent history that did not have the humor element. I also really lliked 28 Days Later.

the descent is a good movie. but i dont see it as the better or the same with silence.

I watched the descent last night and I am sorry to say that I didn't think it was anything to write home about.
