You only have one life and it is yours, so if you want to be a tomboy go for it. Just don't be a slob and keep some manners, that is probably the only thing that they are really complaining about in some guys. True friends will like you for who you are, not what they think you should be.

First of all it doesn't matter what your "friends" think, in the end it's your body, clothing, and choice. If there are your true friends, it shouldn't matter, they will love you no matter what. Besides your clothing might give some a general idea of who you are from what you wear, but its your heart, and soul my friend, your uniqueness, what makes you YOU!
So have fun be yourself, being free is what alot of people dare choose to be...

I have a friend who is a tomboy and she is very close to me. I am a girly girl, but it doesn't matter. I am not friends with her because of what she wears and chooses, I am her friend because she has a great personality. If your friends don't value your personality and style, shed them. Get friends who appreciate them. You deserve better.

you should do what you think is best for you!!! and if you want to be a tomboy and your friends won't like it i guess they aren't real friends so you should go ahead and be that tomboy if your friends don't like it get new friends!!! hope this helps lol

dont hang out with them i kinda have the same problem like if i hang out with somone else they get mad or if i dress in clothes from target they laugh nad i dont dress from target just an example i told my mom but she doesnt get it she just say get new friends but i cant cause then they get mad at me and we wouldnt talk to each other for like everi like her as my friend but a idaont like her attitude o yeah bak to u tell her that u dant wont to be a girly girl but u still kinda wanna be there friends get new friends i hope this helps

if you want to be a tomboy thats your business if they cant accept you for who you are than their not friends and dont worry about what people think its their hangup not yours

um u can't just be like, "i'm a tomboy!" one day....it's more gradual than that...but ur friends should be real friends and respect u if u change ur style...

hmmm...maybe you should question your freindships...if they abandon you for being who you want to be...maybe you should find new freinds....i can understand if they think its a bad idea at first...they will adjust and accept you for you...
