Does anyone know of where I could buy a wireless adapter to use on my xbox 360 console. I do not want to spend £50 on the xbox branded one, so was wondering if any usb wireless adapters work with xbox live. Could anyone please tell me where I could find one for approximateley £30 in the UK.

Hi, if you are thinking of using a usb adapter (dongle) its not going to work. What you can get is a wireless gaming adapter whic is what I use.

I got a 360 and use a belking F5D7330 and it works fine. It took a bit to configure though so hope you know a little about networking. read my other answers on this or drop me an email if you get stuck. The adapter is not plug and play despite what Belking say lol. Took me hours to rig it up on the old xbox. 5 minutes on the 360

Netgear and linksys both do a gaming adapter but make sure you get a wireless G one. There are a few wireless B ones on ebay so watch out.

My 360 is about 26 feet away from my router (netgear dg834G) with one hollow wall and one solid wall in between.

Good luck and if you play moto gp 06 on line, look out for me
