Is it possible to turn someone gay?

Im a nanny for a ten year old boy. We kind of became best friends in the past year and others have said that I turned him gay. One day we were wrestling and I noticed he had an erection but I didnt say anything, because I didnt want to make him uncomfortable, but everytime we wrestled after that night he had an erection. I finally decided to talk to him about it. He said I changed his life but he didnt know if it was a good change or a bad change. Everytime someone would ask him about a girlfriend he would get mad and depressed. I need to know if thats a sign that hes gay. And if so how do I as a friend go about being there for him and letting him know that im there without letting him know that I think hes gay. Another thing is that he doesnt show his emotions to anyone but me. So I know that he'll for more comfortable talking to me about it. So please I need your thoughts and oppinions.

i also dont think that you need to be discussing sexuality with a ten year old

i also dont think that ten year old are likely to tell you that you changed thier lives

i thinks he's gay, i'm 15 and i use to be in that place, he might have a lil cruch on you. So you got to support and you shouldn't be pushing do ya have a girlfriend on him, maybe he isn't comfortable with the fact that he maybe gay. i guess just wait it out, only time will tell afterall pushing the matter even further could break the bond you and him share. so its up to you to decide whether to discuss it with him or not...

You can't "turn" someone gay.

If they are young, you might make them aware of their sexuality. Depending on how they were brought up, they may have had very little exposure to positive gay role models.
