Because they like standing in long lines for health care and they like paying high taxes for governmental foolishness.

Canada is historically a more liberal country than the United States. While I do not know the actual rate of emigration by liberals, I would imagine that it is only logical to want to reside in a country which with you best politically identify.

I've never heard of this and I live in Canada. Mind you Canada is the second biggest country in the world, so I can't imagine knowing it all.
I would guess they do it for work since we have a booming economy? Only reason I can think of.

Cause its a liberal country with liberal laws. THey have gov't health care and the vast majority of libs think its paradise. They then either refuse to see the true and stay, get brain washed and join the french canadians, or see the truth and come back south and become conservatives or at least libertarians.

because they still believe national health care is a good idea even though it raises taxes. and in Canada, pregnant women wait an avergage of three weeks for a sonogram and people wait an average of three months for MRIs.
