This is for music disks. A pop-up always comes. Thanks.

When you see the pop up, scroll down the list and select Do Nothing or Take No Action. There is also a box that said Do this from now on or something similiar, put a check mark on it.
OR
1. Start -> Run and type gpedit.msc

2. Go to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, System.

3. Scroll down and double click on Turn off autoplay and select Disabled

One way that I know of is this:

Go to "My computer" Select the drive you want and then go into the drive "Properties" (right click menu, last option)

When the drive "Properties" window appears click on the "AutoPlay" Tab

Select the Type of Disc it is

Options go something like this:

Music Files: MP3 CDs, WMA etc.
Pictures:Jpeg,Gif,BMPs etc.
Videos: AVI, WMV etc.
Mixed:
Music CD: This is the one you want to select
DVD: Digital Video Discs

Choose "Select an action to perform"
select "Take No Action"
lastly click on "Apply"

You will need to repeat the process if you are using more than One CD/DVD drive on your computer.

Hope this helps
