You have to have your iPod on manual mode not auto sync.
Get the song onto iTunes. Do this by downloading it and if the songs not instantly on iTunes then do a search for the song. When you find it right click and go to open with iTunes. Then in your library drag the song onto your iPod. Just make sure your on manual mode by first stopping iPod from automatically updating when you connect it to your computer. Hold down Control-Alt as you connect the iPod to your computer (hold the keys down until the iPod appears in the iTunes window. If you have iTunes 7 you can switch to manual mode by click on your iPod and looking around for manage iPod manually. Get iTunes 7 by going to this site

connect your ipod on your comp by way of using usb cable, then open up the itunes software on your pc, in case you do not have it acquire it, it rather is unfastened. elect the 'library' tab, then in basic terms drag n drop the songs into the checklist...as quickly as you have performed that including your songs, spotlight the songs, then bypass to record, suitable left, and click sync songs onto ipod. Presto.
