my 3 month old will only nap in her swing...I've tried to put her in her crib but she pops awake after 20 min or less...I don't want to start bad habits but she also needs to sleep--- how and when do I transition her to her crib?

she likes thew swing motion. my 3 month old is the same way. sometimes you may just want her to sleep in the swing a little while during the day. at night wait until she is sleep for about 30 min. and then try to put her in the crib but before you do so when you take her out the crib rock her a little bit in your arms then try to lay her in the crib and see if t hat works. you may also have to pat her or rub her once she's in the crib

My child sleep in his swing all night long for like the first 6 months of his life. Then we put him in his baby bed to sleep. And I went by the baby books and let him cry it out, after she cries for 10 minutes check on her, then if she cries wait ten minutes check on her again, just don't pick her up. Just go in check on her and talk to her, then leave the room and wait outside. The first night you will feel like the worst parent in the world, but this works in know from experence. But I let my son sleep in his sswing for months cause it was the only way he would sleep. This is what worked for me, the experts will tell you not to let your child sleep in the swing. But half of the experts don't even have kids and how can they tell you how to raise your child if they dont even know you or your child??? But this is what worked for me, hope this helps!!!!

My twins slept in their swing many times and always slept through the night with no issues. You do what's right for you and your family.

She just likes to be rocked, she will grow out of it eventually. Try carrying her around with you in a snuggly. But I wouldn't worry about it.
