My friend of 7 years hardly talks to me anymore, but when she does, she almost always wants me to help her out e.g when we went on a school trip to London, and when we were coming home she asked me to go around with her when I was planning to hang with my best friend.
Also in ICT when she talks to me she asks me (and only me) to help her. In PE last week, she also wanted to join MY group at badminton (which she is bad at.) and also in my Art lesson she told me to put her chair up for her. And every time she's asked me to do these things she hasn't done a thing in return, except for saying just ONCE that I was her very best friend.
Is she using me or not?

yes she is and she does not like the fact that you have other friends speak to her but when she ask you to put her chair up tell her no do it your self i am not your personal assistent. Dont let people use u because i had a friend who used me for money now she cant get a dime from me even if i had a million dollars

From the way you describe the situation I can tell that she is using you. Don't be a friend anymore because she only talk to you when she needs something but when you need her to do something she is not there for you. You don't want to have a friend like this because she is a user and she is using you. You want a friend that listen to you, help you out, that can give you advice when you need.

from what i gather yeah im afraid she's using you. Truthfully you shouldn't put up with, you should never put off your real friend for a fake like her who uses people and breaks there hearts the next day as if they were nothing dont put yourself throug it she obviously doesnt appreciate you so dont stick around show her that she isnt your boss and that you are way happier without her!!!

Sounds like she's using you a bit. If she wants to play badminton with you because she sucks, then fair play. It sounds like she's asking you to do petty things that you could just as easily say no to, as easily as she is asking you to do them. It's not like she has asked you to do anything major for her.

Listen carefully: she's using you! And you'll always find people like that in life, so you have to stand up for yourself - no one else will. Please do yourself a favour and find a new best friend. You sound like a good friend, so don't waste your time anymore!
