I'm sure all humans are connected in some way, at some time. It may not be so much that you are related to Asians, but maybe just have a common ancestral group many many thousands of years ago?

In reality, if anyone migrated, why do people have to assume it was Native American people? Maybe the others were in the far north and THEY left? ; )

What you are speaking of is the Land Bridge Theory. The Bering Strait Theory. The theory states that Natives traveled over a land bridge that connected Asia to Alaska. They then spread out from Alask into what is now known as the U.S.

Please note the word theory.
It is not conclusive.
It is, in fact, evidence of scientific racism.
There is more evidence to disprove this theory than to prove it.
Many want to believe it is true so they do not have to feel guilt about the foundation of America. They think that if Natives were immigrants then they had equal rights to this land as the colonizers.
It just simply isn't true.
