MASCARA question!! from experts or people who think their experts lol?

Question

I was just wondering if i should apply the mascara THEN clamp the curler thingy.. or clamp it first and apply? It curls better when i put it first than clamp bu then my eyelashes fall out. I use revelon mascara and La Cross clamp. Whats the best way to make my eyelashes look fuller, longer and nicer? thanks!

Never curl your lashes after you apply mascara... as you can see your lashes fall out.

First make sure your eye lashes are clean and dry.
Next, curl your lashes.
Then, apply mascara to the top sides of your eyelashes, then the bottom side of your lashes.

I'd deep six the curler, it is probably damaging more than helping. Two things I'd consider: 1. false eyelashes. They are easy to apply and you don't have to get the ones that make you look like a vamp... There are many kinds out there and they remove quite easy and can be used over again.
2. Consider a two part mascara like L'Oreal Volume shocker. You apply the first app., let it dry, then apply the color. OR you could use something like Max Factor Stretch and app. one coat, use some talcum powder on your index finger and touch your eye lashes underneath. Then apply a second and third coat. This adds thickness... I've done this for many years and have never used a curler. My eyelashes actually hit my eyeglass lenses they are so long...

You should "clamp" or curl first. If you apply the mascara and then curl, the mascara and your lashes can get plucked right out!
I don't like curling my lashes though. Instead I apply 2 coats of mascara with a curved brush, it gives nice volume, you can reach every lash and it doesn't clump, when I curl I get lots of clumps.

You have to curl your lashes before you use your mascara, otherwise the lashes will clump together. Start at the base of your lashes and crimp, then out toward the middle of the lashes. Then apply the mascara. If you want the best mascara on the market that I've found, it's Dior One, by Christian Dior, it's about $25.00 but well worth it. You won't believe the difference.

Always curl first. The lashes curl easily and more naturally when they're clean and natural.

For fuller lashes, the best thing to do is buy good, expensive mascara. I'd recommend Lancome's L'Extreme, or Clinique's High Impact Mascara.

I always curl first..my lashes fall out too if i do after, even though they look better sometimes.
but jus try holding the curler down longer then apply mascara.

well i use covergirl. that is the best mascara for me. but you should curl your lashes and then apply the mascara. the mascara acts as kind of a glue to keep your lashes curled. hope i helped!

you always want to curl your lashes first, and then apply your mascara.
if you're looking for a mascara that works well, but doesn't cost a fortune, try L'Oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black.

If your mascara is cheap then
heat up your curler, and then curl it. and then put mascara on.

If your mascara isn`t clumps, or yunky, and then curl it, put mascara on, then curl it again.
