It's when your friends suddenly turn really judge mental and start hating MCR... They just can't understand how much the band has done to help and inspire you... They call you a total addicted freak... They just don't get it... I don't think I've changed very much, except I've become a fan... I'm still the same person... Sometimes I think they're really not very good friends anyway... I don't really care what others think about me... I'll always have my best friends and other friends that love MCR too... So, should I keep these other ones, the ones that think I'm a total freak?
I'm not emo or anything if that's what you're thinking... I'm just really inspired by their music... I don't cut myself, I'm not depressed everyday, I just can't get enough of their music...

To be blunt: I think you should ditch these so-called friends asap! Is that all they care about, what music you listen to? Sheesh, how immature. Let me just tell you that you're not alone! Every single one of my friends hates MCR with a vengeance too, but don't judge me for adoring them. Mind you, they have been my friends for half my life and as long as I would take a bullet for them and am loyal to them for life, they couldn't care less if I painted my face green to the opera, or had a habit of screaming at the top of my lungs in church. ;)

Don't keep the losers that call you a freak just because you like MCR. I like MCR too (my favourite band).
The people who are calling you a freak are shallow-minded idiots that probably don't listen to very good music themselves. They're probably even jealous that you like MCR.

It's pathetic that your so called 'friends' are hating on you for liking a band. I'm a total MCR addict myself and all of my friends hate them. Just tell your friends that they should respect your feelings. If the ignorant behaviour carries on, go with the nice friends.

if you love music, GREAT! if you love a band, GREAT! Just dont talk about it all the time. Dont forget to have a life with your friends....any other time FEEL FREE TO MCR iT UP!

Ask them what the heck is going on? If they were good friends, they wouldn't give you such a hard time about the music you listen to.
