Noticed that--mostly on Myspace, and sometimes from other websites. Women smile more than men. Just wondering for your perspectives.

My teenage son went through a stage of a few years in my rocky marriage to his father, (now my ex) where he wasn't happy, so he not only didn't smile in pictures, but he outright frowned. Now, he smiles all the time - just not in pictures, unless you catch him off guard. I think, from things my son has told me, that teenage guys don't think it's cool, and the men in my life who don't smile in photos feel a little silly smiling, so they therefore don't.

girls are supposed to be more open, and guys hold back a lot. Some guys (that I know) just think it's sissy to smile in pictures, which is really stupid.
