I drink like a 12 pack a day.I've been drinking pop like this since i was 15 and im now 23. I know my teeth and body arent going to be good if i keep this up so what do i do?

wow...just stop i heard about one of my dad's friends who were addicted to it...im not sure how they stopped..but you really should stop...a lot of calories and sugar...so
try drinking lemonade instead of mountain dew, or slowly cut down how much you drink in a day, go from 12 to 8 to 6 to 4 to 2 to 1 and then to 0...that should help!! and be determined!!! good luck hun!

I myself suffer from addiction,every addiction under the sun has had its grasp on me at one time or another.I don't need to tell you that Mountain Dew is the worst offender of soft drinks and I myself am plowing thru a 12 pack a day of Red bull!Recently I just got off of meth and alcohol,and in order for me to regain my health and happiness I started drinking propel water,I don't know if you have ever tried it,but its great and comes in all sorts of flavors,its made by Gatorade and re hydrates you,is thirst quenching and is a heck of alot better for you then mountain dew,Good-Luck

I used to drink a 12 pack or more everyday for YEARS of Mt. Dew.... A few years ago I switched to Dt. Mt. Dew and have drank that ever since (it takes a coule weeks to get used to, but now I prefer it over regular).

I've cut down, but I still have a Dt. Mt. Dew first thing in the morning on my commute to work... I drink 4-6 total each day ... DANG ... it is SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD !

The caffeine is the biggest problem with this. Sugar too, but you don't get addicted to sugar with the problems that caffeine makes. Try going to diet and then wean yourself down so you can get off the caffeine. Then use flavored water or reg water and try caffeine free diet Pepsi, it is really good.

you shuold stop and drink water,or gingeral or somthing but a 12 pack a day thats hooriable if im luck i get 1 mountain dew every 5 months and the dew shrinks wat u got down below so i suppose u have like a pinkie sized thing?(well thats most def. none of my buisness) but really cut down on the dew

well slowly try to limit the intake grab a glass of water instead or drink the diet version even though that is not good for u either but maybe if u drink that one then u will get sick of it all together...i know i like that soda too and my family looks at me with disgust lol...

go see a doctor. he/she will probably have the answer to your addiction. meanwhile, drink lots of water when you have the craving, or just occupy yourself during that time and try to forget about it. also, if you're not really fat, i guess you can eat something in place of your mountain dew too.

I had the exact same problem.....then I realized how much money I wasted on MD....so I slowly weened myself off it by drinking a can less everyday and now I drink like......a can every other day if that

Drink something healthy like tea. It can taste just as good as soda.
