We are not taking the oil for personal US citizen consumption. The profit of oil is for the corporations who have control over our government. The war for oil claim has never and will never mean that the US is taking Iraqi oil for US citizens. When the claim is properly interpreted it makes infinitely more sense than the Bush Administrations changing reasoning for the invasion and occupation of Iraq. The war for oil crowd never claimed the motive was to lower gas prices or benefit the average US citizen in any way. The evidence is in the sky rocketing price of oil per barrel since the invasion and the record profits all oil corporations have made since the invasion of Iraq.

It's "Hello Cleveland" - they never made it to the stage - and if you're looking for war music, go classical. Mars the Bringer of War, or, of couse, Ride of the Valkyries.
