How do you put more backspin into your shot and does it make you a better shooter,does it give you more range. Because when i shoot i just push the pall from underneath and i shoot at a high percentage the obly problem is that cant hit 3s. So is it better to have backspin

Yes, and the reason you have none is that you're not "following through" with your shot. A good way to get the "backspin" you want is to PRETEND you're waving goodbye to the ball as it leaves your hand. Not with the side-to-side motion that you as an adult use - but with the up-and-down motion of the fingers you used when you were a baby.
(Sounds "stoopid" I know, but hey, it does work!)

everyones different, look at some peoples shot in college, some have tons of backspin, and others the ball barely spins at all, not everyone is made out to be a three point shooter, u just gotta find what your good at, and be the best at it, good luck to you

Getting back spin is easy. When you shoot really flick your wrist and keep it there. If the ball is on your fingertips and you do it right there should be plenty of backspin.

yes, I think the back spins help the shoot. It will help with range and its really easy.

when you shoot, let it roll off your fingertip instead of quickly just releasing it
