Is my salamander habitat ok? (with pics)?

Here is my salamander habitat. I don't currently have a salamander, but I'm planning on getting one (not sure which kind). The box is about 1' long and 8" wide. It has a lid that I am going to punch holes in. I have rocks in the water so that a salamander wouldn't drown, a piece of curved bark to act as a tunnel, and a circle from a roll of tape for a sal to climb through. Here are pics, do you think it's acceptable for a sal or newt?

i'd suggest a little bit bigger of a water dish and one single large rock but other than that it's fine
