Registration used to be every Friday. But just recently they have changed it to being open 3-4 random days of the month.

Keep your eyes on it. And remember that Demonoid requests are being accepted at the demonoid forums.

Also another good thing is the torrent tool bar add-on for Firefox. It allows you to search multiple sites for torrents with ease. I use this also at times.
