If I'm getting up and getting dressed, etc. do I have to wear shoes all day? I'd rather wear my slippers.

I've been a flybaby for just over 2 years and the main thing that I have learned is that you need to take her system and make it fit for you. You won't do it if you don't like it, right?
We don't wear shoes in our house, and I used to just look over it. However, in December I decided to give it a shot. So I bought a really cute pair of Skechers just to wear in the house. They are not lace up shoes, they are like a lace up shoe only instead of laces they have the bungee string. I can slip them on easy, but they are so comfy that I like wearing them all day! And I have also found that she's right, I have been getting more done. I love the shoes so much that in Janurary, for my birthday, I bought them in another color! By the way, I was a big time slipper girl before.
Another thing, I searched online for quite a while to find a cute shoe, then went to the store to try them on. They are really light weight, another reason I didn't like lace up shoes was because all the ones I had tried before were kind of heavy.
Sorry it's so long but, I hope this has helped. Maybe if you find the right shoe, who knows??? You don't have to wear them all day. Just try it for 15 minutes at a time ;)

Flylady doesn't care if you take your shoes off AFTER your daily work is done and you want to rest or whatever in your slippers. She simply says it is easier to get "going" on tasks if you are comletely ready for the day including shoes.
Many of Flylady's followers are those who need to know step-by-step how to get through their days productively. If you do fine with you slippers on, go ahead!

I've been signed up with FlyLady for almost 4 years now and I have *never* dressed to the shoes. Mainly because I don't freel comfortable like that. ... But, I'm sure you don't have to follow her methods 100%. She is there to help you with the upkeep of your home and it's up to you to take that information and make the best use out of it.

Another term I have never used is to call myself a "FlyBaby".... I love her methods.... I love her system.... but, I don't follow everything 100% and you don't have to either. You do whatever feels right to you.

Depends on where you are planning to go. Most business places (if you are working there) are not impressed with casual dress if you are in the public eye. If you are just running around, be comfortable.
