I am a back seat driver to begin with. However if he is driving like a maniac then I will get of the car at the next red light. If he wants to drive like that let him kill himself but not with me in the car.

DON'T DRIVE AS A PASSENGER WITH HIM.

QUICKLY TAKE OUT MORE AUTO INSURANCE, you're gonna need it one day.

Stay off the road in front of him. I'm assuming you mean you're both driving separate cars and you're in the lead. Be the follower instead and don't try to keep up with him. You know where you're both driving to, don't you?

His behavior affects you whether you realize it or not so let him know it upsets you. He may need some drivers' ed. and the Judge will see that he gets it!

PRAY!

you should tell him that when others are in the car he should think about how he is driving and their well being in the car. Safety, is not the only issue. It is stress of the drive from A to B. He should be concern about your stress level when you drive with him. When he is by himself he can drive any way he wants. However, make sure you take a soft tone (not in the car) when you bring this up.

I have 94 Camaro with a full SS rebuild not to mention the Corvette wheels or RS body kit, did I mention it's a six-speed manual, anyways its looks and sounds pretty damn good, but me cutting doughnuts in traffic make it look so much better. She is proud of what I have build, and cheers me on when I drive it like it stole... i just think i should always say that i have 10 yrs. driving exp., no wrecks, but yes I will admit several several speeding tickets. So don't get nervous, i have put my heart and soul into my cars and i would not dare scratch any of my babies.

Sit in the back seat with the seat belt firmly locked !! After a little bit, He will get the hint, and slow down. Now, if He is in back of you driving rather immaturely, just pull over, let Him have His tantrum and proceed on down the road !! Good Luck and God Bless !!

Cut his brake line then he'll learn. Ok so maybe that a little to harsh but maybe if you find someway to scare him pretend he hit you and you got hurt or if you have a friend who works for the police get him pulled over. Have you tried talking to him about this. He may be joking around but why would he put you in danger like that?

Don't ride with him. Have a lot of insurance. Pray that the police stop him when he is driving dangerously (take your own car and drive if you have to go somewhere together).

Heh...you make it sound like an every day occurance we all go through!
He sounds like a control freak bully who likes to give you a scare when you are helpless to help yourself. Being that you made it through that last ride with him, refuse to drive with him any more. Make sure you are not in his sights when you start out to drive.
If there are any calm moments, tell him how you feel about what he does to you and ask him if he could please consider your feelings.

well i have an imaginary brake on the passenger side< just kidding> but i do tend to think theres one there not that pushing it does any good. i would tell him to take driving classes plus I'd make sure he does have a license.
