Yes, I do. And, since it is my car, if my passengers can't make do with an open window or two, they can walk or take a cab. It's not like they are pitching in for my gas or anything.

I don't smoke in the car if it is not moving. Any potential passengers are warned that the car is a smoking area, and their life could be shortened by secondhand smoke before they get in. (Actually I roll down my window, so they don't get much smoke) Their choice from then on. In the real world, hasn't happened yet. Any passenger in the truck has been a smoker,so far.

Yes I do light up when I'm driving except if I have any nonsmoking passengers with me. I carry a can of Lysol with me and spray my car if I'm picking a nonsmoker up. I also spray myself with Lysol before getting out of my car as soon as I'm ready to go into a store, office etc. I would not want someone to smoke around me if I wasn't a smoker.
I wish I'd known about the dangers of smoking 36 years ago. I know that if I'd had any idea about the dangers of smoking 36 years ago that I would not have smoked while pregnant with my child and nor would I have smoked around him.

I used to have a smoking ban in my car when i first got it...over time I have started to have the occasional smoke in it...I never smoke in the car when I have passengers...I also never smoke in my house or smoke in other peoples homes...I always go outside and if thats not an option I will just wait until I can...I keep Febreeze auto in my car...it works pretty good...have not used my ashtray though

Yes I do light up in the car. And as far as non-smoking passengers go, I don't lose any sleep over it. And for me that includes children. My car, my choice. Thankfully, my daughter is still too young to complain but she won't get any sympathy from me if and when she does.

I smoke more when I'm driving than the rest of the time, probably because I know I'm going somewhere that I wont be able to smoke (work,college,etc.). I'd never smoke in someone Else's car, unless they did, but wouldn't stop smoking in mine for a non-smoker (except my mum cause she moans, and for babies/children 'cause they deserve the respect)

MY car, my rules. I smoke with the sunroof and window down. If the passenger doesnt lik eit, hitch another ride.

Yes, it's a conditioned reflex. Concerning other passangers, my car, my rules, same as the radio. If a cracked window isn't good enough, find your own transportation! (children excluded of course except for the radio.)

I see it all the time.
How awful and scallyish does it look? Ugh. Especially when they stop at lights and flick the ash out of the window. Classy!
